Neelu Shruti, Owner of Love Child, Yoga Instructor specializing in Prenatal, Postnatal and Baby & Me Yoga, Full Spectrum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, Midwifery Assistant. 

Dominique Weiss is a Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics, Labor, Delivery and Postpartum, a Doula Childbirth Educator, and International Board Certified Lactation Counselor and mom to twins. 

Lindsey Vestal owns The Functional Pelvis, a private practice specializing in pelvic floor therapy “house calls” for pre- and postnatal women. She graduated from NYU with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has dedicated her career to empowering women to find relief from conditions such as bowel and urinary incontinence, constipation, dyspareunia, pelvic pain, prolapse and pre and postnatal complications. She has trained with Herman & Wallace Institute, Diane Lee's Integrated Systems Model, Maitland as well as specialized biofeedback training for the pelvic floor. As an OT, she is a passionate promoter of bridging pelvic floor rehabilitation with lifestyle modifications while addressing the psychological impact that pelvic floor issues have on our everyday lives. Prior to founding her own practice, Lindsey was a therapist at Roosevelt Hospital. Lindsey lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children Avery, 4 and Liam, 2.

Stephanie Propper has been successfully practicing Chinese medicine in New York City for over eight years. Her practice delves deeply into the areas of women's health, fertility, perinatal care, pediatrics, chronic disease and autoimmune imbalances. Stephanie uses Chinese medicine to enhance fertility and fertility treatments and has served over 1000 women in all phases of pregnancy, including labor and delivery as well as postpartum care.  She has developed an experienced, intuitive and nurturing approach to holistically working with women during this important time.  She also has extensive experience in treating women's health issues including PCOS, endometriosis, cysts, perimenopause, menopause and thyroid imbalances.  Stephanie also treats autoimmune diseases including asthma, eczema, psoriasis, Crohn's disease, colitis, lupus, and MS. Her passion to serve the community with acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional and lifestyle counseling began with her Bachelor's of Science in Human Development & Family Studies at Cornell University. Then, integrating her knowledge of human psychology with Traditional Chinese Medicine, she earned her Master’s degree from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Solange Ross, MPT, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Certified, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Fitness Instructor, Certified Lactation Specialist. Solange brings 15 years of personal training experience and over 10 years of physical therapy and pelvic floor rehab practice to her clients. Areas of specialty include: Postpartum rehabilitation Pelvic floor protection Core and abdominal strength Diastasis Recti Separation correction Back strengthening Overall body conditioning and strengthening Solange has a passion for empowering women and helping them feel good in their bodies. She is dedicated to spreading positive pelvic health education and teaching healthy forms of exercise. Solange is a believer in finding a deeper strength, new meaning and unparalleled beauty in the postpartum body.

Jena Booher is a maternal mental health expert who empowers women in their intersection of career, children, and self-care. She operates a private practice in both NYC and Westchester. Other work outside one-on-one's include consulting businesses on how to improve their family leave policies in an effort to retain top female talent. Jena partners with the Gianna Center for Women's Health and Fertility in midtown Manhattan focusing on the mental health issues that arise from miscarriage, infertility, and stillbirths, as well as the Sierra House in Newark, NJ helping homeless mothers into independent living with their children. Jena is a certified life coach, credentialed by the International Coach Federation, is also pursuing her masters in Mental Health Counseling, active blogger for Huffington Post, and a mother to her beautiful little girl.

Jessica Tobin, LMSW, CBE, Birth Doula. Jessica is a birth doula, childbirth educator, Licensed Master Social Worker and psychotherapist who specializes in trauma. She is a trained trauma therapist and specializes in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault. She has additional training from the Seleni Institute for Maternal Mental Health in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders as well as perinatal loss. She provide miscarriage support and conducts bereavement counseling for families. Jessica received her B.A. in Women and Gender Studies at Hunter College and her M.S.W. at The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She is a United States Marine Corps Veteran, photographer, and yoga enthusiast. She currently works as a trauma therapist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and resides in Weehawken, NJ with her partner Tony, dog Emma Lou, and cat, Coco.

Chrysti Lauter, CHT, HBCE, Birth Doula. Chrysti is a certified hypnotist and DONA trained birth doula. Her life’s passion is to serve women during the deeply personal transition into motherhood and the journey that follows. There are few naturally occurring opportunities in life that allow a woman to transform herself completely. Hypnosis allows you to recognize and cultivate your inner power, allowing you to seize the opportunity and become the woman and the mother you want to be. Chrysti feels so honored to be able to hold space for such moments of transformation as a birth worker alongside a group of wise and talented women. Her newest certification additions include Hypnobirthing childbirth educator and Hypnomothering practitioner. This skill set allows Chrysti to teach women how to reconnect and trust their body’s natural ability to birth their babies in a calm, peaceful, and comfortable manner and provides tools for a more gentle transition into motherhood.

Bilen Berhanu, Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor. Bilen is a DONA Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor who has been working with families throughout New York City since training with Debra Pascali-Bonaro in 2011. She provides preconception consulting, prenatal, labor, birth and postpartum support. Bilen is also a Doula Project trained full spectrum doula. Her practice is centered on a desire to provide pathways to empowered reproductive choices and experiences. Founded on a philosophy of honoring the wisdom of the body and the reproductive workers that came before, Bilen's approach is very spiritually grounded and physically embodied. In her role as a doula, she provides nonjudgemental, continual care and support.

The Fine Print

  • 3 month minimum commitment required. For In-Home postpartum services, 2 month commitment after birth is required.

  • In-home visits are limited to members residing within the NYC subway and PATH train limits.

  • Private classes are scheduled upon request at the following times: Monday - Thursday between 8.30am - 6pm and Sundays between 12.30pm - 5.30pm based on studio availability.

  • 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy applies to all private classes and in-home sessions.

  • In case of certain medical conditions, membership may be put on hold.

  • Please note that we will be closed December 20th, 2016 - December 27th, 2016.

  • After 2 months, membership may be cancelled for the following month at anytime. 

  • We highly recommend registering in advance for In-Studio classes as they often sell out and cannot guarantee a spot for walk-ins. Reservations may be cancelled up to 90 minutes before the start of class. Extremely late cancellations and no shows will be charged $10.
